The Bridge is hiring a full-time (30-40 hours/week) Key Holder to work at The Bridge Thrift Store in Orland Park and Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration in Frankfort. This role will take the lead in opening and closing both thrift stored and leading the team in the absence of the Store Operator or Assistant Store Operator.

Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration is hiring a part-time Receiver to assist with the processing and organization of donated goods at the Frankfort location. This position receives daily directions from the Assistant Store Operator and Store Leads.

Sales Associates are responsible for ensuring all guests have an extremely positive impression of (and experience shopping at) The Bridge Thrift Store in Orland Park and Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration in Frankfort. They will work alongside the Store Operator and Assistant Manager in serving guest needs, creating a community atmosphere and supporting the sales floor. This position would be schedule to work 15-20 hours a week during the day.

The Job Readiness Program Assistant will directly support the Job Readiness and Volunteer Coordinator at The Bridge Thrift Store, including the development of student leaders through the “Thriftastic” job readiness training program. This position reports directly to the Job Readiness and Volunteer Coordinator and will also work with the Store Director and team at The Bridge Thrift Store.

Under the leadership of the Program Director, the intern will provide assistance with planning, organization, and implementation of various programs and events.

Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing, the intern will provide assistance within the specific areas of graphic design, marketing, public relations, development, and promotion of The Bridge Teen Center and The Bridge Thrift Store.

The Social Media & Communications Intern will have the opportunity to learn new skills, grow The Bridge Teen Center’s social media presence and make a big contribution to our Marketing Department. Under the Director of Marketing, the Social Media & Communications Intern will assist in the story telling of student programs, events, and promotion of upcoming student programs and fundraising events.

Under the leadership of the Marketing Department, the intern will provide assistance in the creation, planning, and execution of videos for entertainment, educational, promotional, and training purposes for students, volunteers, and the general public.

Under the leadership of the Volunteer & Job Readiness Coordinator of The Bridge Thrift Store, the intern will provide assistance in the specific areas of marketing, communications, business, public relations, community outreach, event planning, operational procedures, and day-to-day operations.

Under the leadership of the Volunteer Department, the intern will provide assistance with volunteer management, training and other human resource responsibilities for both The Bridge Teen Center and Thrift Store. The internship will heavily focus on elements of retention and recruitment.
